Sites to See in the Country of Thailand

by Matthew Kepnes

Thailand is one of the most popular destinations in the entire world. Tourists from around the world come here year round to relax in the sun of the luxurious beaches, trek in its jungles, and take in its great food. This country of friendly people and cheap eats has a lot to over many people of all different travel types.

Thailand is a great country for sun worshippers. The islands and beaches here are filled with white sand and surrounded by warm blue water. There is a beach for everyone here. For the young backpackers out there, you can find parties on the islands of Ko Phi Phi and Phangan. For the romantics, you can find luxury retreats on Ko Samui. Water in Thailand is clean and warm and youll be able to swim and cool off after a very hot day in the sun.

The capital of Bangkok is one of the craziest cities in the world. In this city of 12 million residents and thousands of tourists, every night in this city is a party. Here, where the traffic grids to a halt all hours of the day, people cool off from the heat and madness with a few pints. You can party with the locals on Suk 11, hang with the backpackers on Khao San, or head to find the girls on Silom. Bangkok is a crazy city that will have you either loving or hating it.

One of the most amazing places to visit in Thailand is the west coast island of Phuket. This huge island is one of the biggest tourist centers in the country. This is because there are so much to do. You can enjoy amazing diving off the coast of the country and head to the private island of the Similians for even better diving. You can relax at world class spas and resorts as well as lay on wide white sand beaches. Phuket has something to offer everyone.

Aside from the popular beaches of Thailand, you may also want to have an adventurous hike on the mountains of Chiang Mai. You may want to explore the culture of Thai tribes as well as participating in exciting events such as rafting and elephant riding. If you want to have a great time on your visit to Chiang Mai, make sure you schedule your travel with the Song Kran or Thailands New Year celebration.

Thailand is a country with many things to do. A vacation here will be filled with tons of activities. Youll never be bored in Thailand. No matter what you like to do, Thailand has something to offer from peace and quiet to loud parties. For your next trip to Asia, consider Thailand and when you are in Thailand, consider doing these activities.

Cheapest Hotels in Orlando Florida

by Chris Linch

When traveling to Orlando, you need to keep all the money you can. The theme parks will eat you alive when it comes to money. Evidently, we dont have boundless cash so we have to save somewhere. Saving on your hotel is a fantastic place to start. Because you will spend most of your time at theme parks and other fun destinations it is ok to save a tad when it comes to a hotel.

Here are my top 5 picks for cheap hotels in Orlando Florida:

Knights Inn Maingate East " Right next to Disneyworld starts at $23 per night.

Howard Johnson Enchanted Land " Near Disneyworld starts at $27 for each night.

Knights Inn Kissimmee " Starts at just $27 per night.

Americas Best Value Inn " Starts at $27 for each night.

Orlando Days Inn International " Best deal for sure, starts at $28 per night and is nice.

There is a excellent start for you to book cheap hotels in Orlando Florida. There are many websites out there who carry these properties. Book as early as achievable to ensure the best rate, and if you are confident you are going choose a non refundable reservation to save a few extra dollars.

Some other things I advocate for Orlando is to by hopper passes, at least you get a price cut for various visits to parks. Also you want to buy food packages if you are going with Kids. Just a hot dog and fries and a place like Sea World is a ten dollar lunch. I usually dont recommend the Disney resorts because they are more expensive, however if you have the money they offer all inclusive packages as well.

If you ever need help booking a hotel, and you are using an online site. Try to use one that offers a variety of hotel chains as opposed to just a hotel website. Hotel or franchise websites are constantly going to declare their properties best fit your needs. You are best to make that choice on your own.

The Hysterical Duo Is Available On DVD - Flight of the Conchords Season Two

by Patrick Daniels

If you have seen this series then there is no need to say anything further, except Season 2 of the Flight of the Conchords will be out on DVD on August 4th, so be sure to reserve your copy today. As for those who have yet to have the pleasure of his incredible show, then let me tell you a little about Flight of the Conchords, because surely if you watch it once, you will want to see it again and again.

This is a show that follows the trials and tribulations of a two man digi-folk band. They are from New Zealand and you get to watch as they try to make their way in New York City . As you can imagine, watching Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie try and transition into a life in the New York City music business, is beyond hysterical.

Now in season one, although the show was hilarious and the music was good, there were times at which I felt the music was just a bit off from the plot and story line. That is why season 2 has been so much better a viewing experience, at least by my standards. This season the music seemed to be written directly for the plot and that made it all the more enjoyable in my book.

Flight of the Conchords is an HBO favourite and has received excellent ratings, thanks to its subtle humor and improve. The DVD release date was scheduled, by HBO, even prior to the season two premiere of the show being aired, so many have already ordered their copy before they even show the first show of the season.

When you purchase this season on DVD, you will not only be able to watch your favorite episodes over and over again, but you will also have access to more then 60 minuted worth of extras. Included on the DVD is 23 minutes of deleted scenes, 8 minutes of outtakes, a few Dave's pawn Shop commercials and a 30 minutes bonus; Flight of the Conchords, Taking Off. That alone makes it worth your money!

The Fun To Be Had At Brisbane

by Patrick Daniels

Brisbane has the perfect climate for those that enjoy outdoor activities. It has a relatively flat city and various parks where you can enjoy leisurely walks, cycling and skating to your hearts content.

Cycling: Brisbane has over 5000 kms of cycle ways across the city. You can ride around the river, explore the suburbs or even cycle around Moreton Bay. To find out details of the cycle ways, you can pick up a booklet Brisbane Bicycle Experience Guide in the tourist information centres. The scenic routes follow the river and range from 5 kms to 20 kms. An easy starter takes you from the City Botanic Gardens cross the Goodwill Bridge to the University of Queensland. There are lots of places to stop and rest on the way! You can take bikes onto the City Trains but not during peak hour and they are allowed onto the CityCat and Ferries too for free.

In-Line Skating: The Cycle tracks are also good for skating. You can rent the skates at Skatebiz, Albert Street. Which also provides all the safety equipment too. Southbank Parklands, The City Botanic Gardens and the paths by the Brisbane River are great places to skate.

Rock Climbing: This is one of the most popular past times in Brisbane, with many wonderful places to explore. You can start at the Cliffs Rock Climbing area at Kangaroo Point, these pink volcanic cliffs are now home to a rock climbing wall. This wall is suitable for all climbing expertise levels and are lit until midnight. Indoor climbing is also available at Urban Climb, in West End or Rock Sports, in Fortitude Valley. Clubs such as K2 Extreme and Torre Mountain Craft also offer mountain climbing and abseiling classes.

Swimming: Southbank Parkland, is home to everyone's favourite outdoor swim place. It is an artificial lagoon and makes for a fun day with family and friends. Brisbane also offers many other pools including the Centenary pool, which is a 50 metre pool with high diving. This pool is attached to a fitness center and also has a wading pool for smaller children. For a piece of Brisbane history the Spring Hill Baths is where you will want to visit. It is a heated pool and accredited as being the first public bath is Brisbane, established in 1886.

Skydiving and Ballooning: The Brisbane Skydiving Centre picks up from the CBD and offers tandem skydives over Brisbane including a 30 minute scenic flight .Balloon flights over Brisbane CBD are spectacular and can be organized by Fly Me to the Moon. They take off just after daybreak and travel about 10 to 15 kms and are about the hour. A 4WD follows you to the landing site. The flight normally takes you over the river and views extend north beyond the Glass House Mountains and south to the Border Ranges.
